You are the one for me

Because I love thee

A voided heart has been filled

With pure emotions spilled

Do you know what you do?

That keeps me shining through?

It's with all that you bring

And making my heart bling

I need you to know

I shall always show

With a loving heart of gold

You'll feel my love tenfold

There's a lot in store

As I want to show more

Everything that you mean

Is in my heart pristine

With inner beauty so pure

That is certainly my lure

No vision can ever replace

Your truly beautiful face

And I feel all the while

As I sit here and smile

That I am blessed by far

To be here where we are

I have one thing to say

That I wish to relay

My sweet, my dear

Come to me near

With words of three

I say to you

And say them true

"I love thee"

I'd rather be dead

Than be full of dread

In a life without you

In a life without love true

I'd rather be locked in a cage

Brimming full of total rage

Than not to ever know

This love that you show

I'd rather be isolated

Than to not know true love related

With your precious gift of love

Granted from the heavens above

I'd rather be lost and alone

Than to not see your beauty shown

But God has set loneliness free

And blessed you forever with me

Lastly I will say

That forever and a day

What was lacking you do deserve

For all to witness and observe

You are my heart

I shall not depart

Eternally I will give

All my love...

Sometimes, we get caught up in proving things to others before we have taken the time to prove it to ourselves. Once we prove it to ourselves, it becomes unnecessary to prove it to anyone else

When you finally meet the other half of your soul, you will understand why all the others let you go. When you meet the one who deserves your heart, you'll then know why things never worked out with anyone else

Everyone makes mistakes in their lives, but that doesn't mean they have to pay for them the rest of their days. Sometimes, good people make poor choices. It doesn't mean they're bad, it means they are only human - Poetry and quotes from my Heart

The enemy you know is always better than the one you don't

You get back what you give. If you don't like what's being given then, perhaps you should look back on what you gave

You know that part early in the morning right before the alarm goes off and we're laying in each other's arms? Yeah ....I love that part

I have the deepest affection for intellectual conversations; the ability to just sit and talk about love, life and about anything and everything that comes to m ind. To sit under the moon with all the time in the world allowing the full-speed train that is our lives coming to a slow crawl - bound by no obligations and by no human limitations, to speak without regret or fear of consequence. To talk for hours on end about what's truly important in life

I’ve learned the hard way that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings - even if I respect theirs. Being a good person doesn’t guarantee that others will be good people too. You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only choose to accept them or walk away

Persevere

Things that have brought me here

Memories shall I always hold dear

Letting go thoughts of dread and fear

Events that have occurred

Make me persevere

I am now and will be strong

I know exactly where I belong

Sadness within will not prolong

There’s more to be had all lifelong

And with that I do say along will come a better day

Joy and happiness will come my way

Again I turn a chapter and pray

Because I am a fighter

Days from darkness become lighter

In turn they also grow brighter

Still a poet I am, still a writer

I possess the internal will

To not lay dormant, not lay still

My heart will once again fill

All of what I say shall not be nil

I can and I will persevere

Speechless

What I wouldn't do

For just one moment with you

No mountain too high

Would explain just why

No valley too vast

Still, I'd get there fast

I'd swim an ocean to be near

So I can say I held my dear

O' to touch that silken skin

Floods a desire deep within

To stand before you and glance

And feel so blessed for another chance

A true honor it would be

Having you again next to me

Just what could one say??

A single thought brightens my day

Igniting a blazing, roaring fire

That magnifies my desire

Anticipation so very divine

Thankful that you are mine

Once again it will be so

And your direction I will go

Vanishing are feelings of disdain

Leaping outta my skin
