A darkness engulfs and shrouds my heart,

Where love once emanated its light,

Now an empty and voided shell am I,

Still seeking that one to complete my life.

Words fail upon me to express,

My heart feels sadness at its best.

My eyes long to finally see,

The love that freedom brings.

Still, there is a light,

Bleak, but dimly shining,

At the end of its tunnel,

Is where she will be.

Hope is eternal

Hope is pure

Hope brings life

Hope brings love

Hope is you
