We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion, medicine, law, business and engineering. These are noble pursuits and are necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance and love, these are what we stay alive for - Professor Keating, Dead Poets Socitey

People said I've changed so much. The truth is, I simply grew up. I stopped letting people push me around all the time. I learned that you can't always be happy. I accepted the reality of life

Sometimes there is no darker place than our own thoughts, the moonless midnight of the mind - Dean Koontz

Love songs aren't the only songs that gives you goosebumps

Just because her eyes don't tear doesn't mean her heart doesn't cry. And just because she comes off strong doesn't mean there's nothing wrong

Far too much has been written about great men but not nearly enough as morons - Lord Tyrion Lannister; Game Of Thrones

In A World

۝ In a World ۝

In a world unknown

There is still beauty shown

In a world that sees with glare

There are still those who dare

In a world that is hard to find

Keep positive in your mind

In a world with no direction

Keep seeking your perfection

In a world where love seems lost

There in your heart it's embossed

In a world that's lost all hope

Fear not and you will cope

In a world where true love resides

See the miracle that never hides

Eternity

˚•• Eternity ••˚

Thinking of you I can clearly see,

My lifelong loves eternity.

No beginning,

No end,

My love,

I’ll always send.

One thing is sure in my heart,

From you my dear, I shall not depart.

You complete my circle in life,

You remove all of its strife.

Like a roaring, blazing flame,

What I feel shall not be tame.

You consume my mind,

And my every thought.

What we share my sweet,

Cannot be bought.

No beginning,

No end,

I can clearly see eternity,

In a life built for you and me

Overcome

●○< Overcome >○●

I can, I will, I shall overcome!
No more will I have this sadness,
I shall escape this withering madness,
What’s been done unto me,
Has actually set me free.
No more are the lies,
And your misleading disguise,
I know I will succeed,
My heart has now been freed.
Still I wonder how I was played,
And how I felt so dismayed,
A certain thought is sure,
One I know is pure.
Soon you’ll know what you had,
In that moment, I hope you’re sad.
Better than you I deserve,
In happiness I now will serve.
I can, I will, I shall overcome!
