I once heard
from a boy
"What's happened
to the joy?"
Our world has lost its touch
and its values so much
There was a time....
When no one would dare
To give unending care
So much seems lost
As principals are tossed
I once heard
There was so much love
Not a soul would shove
They'd do all they can
For their fellow man
It was like it was fashion
To display such passion
I once heard
That so much strife
Is not needed in life
So, I pray
For the day
This all
Just goes away
